When my sisters joined me in Banyuwangi, I asked him to take me to a good seafood restaurant because I wanted to eat grilled prawns. He told me that he could grill prawns better than any restaurants in Banyuwangi. Oh yeah, I actually believed him. :)
So he had his way, told his workers to get the homemade grill ready and directed them to make the marinating sauce.

The prawns were HUGE!
After the preparations were set, he was ready to grill the prawns using homemade grill (He had it made long ago). The fire was hot, the prawns were thawed, and the sauce was ready to be used.
Cooking prawns was tricky. If they were cooked too long, the meat became rubbery. My Dad has mastered grilling these prawns, so he got them out right on time.

He was right (again), he cooked better than any restaurants in the area.
I was like a kid again, eating prawns like a mad-woman. :)
To my Daddy, you truly are the BBQ Master! *hugs and kisses*
